Pastor Rod and Kari joined the ministry staff at Church of the Cross in June of 2022. They have been married for 40 years and have served together in a variety of music ministry opportunities in churches and itinerate ministries both stateside and in several foreign countries.

Rod grew up in Eaton, Colorado and Kari in Des Moines, Iowa. They recently moved from Clear Lake, Iowa, where they gladly gave up their snow shovels to move to Florida! There we raised our two sons, Joshua and Jerame and are now empty nesters. They have been blessed with four grandchildren from the marriage of Joshua and Laura.
